Thanks for partnering with RemoteWoman and/or RemotePOC - we want you to get the most out of our platforms. Below are some steps to help you get going:
- Be transparent. You’re going to be able to hire more effectively when you build trust with job seekers. Including a detailed description of your remote work policy, perks/benefits and expectations for the role can go a long way.
- Use inclusive language. Many job seekers can be turned off by language that feels to harsh or out of touch. If you’re looking for some tools to help, here are some options: datapeople.io, textio.com
- Source in our slack communities. Once you’re an official partner, we welcome recruiters to actively reach out to job seekers. In the community, please introduce yourself in the #general-introductions channel and be active on the sub-channels. Most importantly, be helpful & positive. We recommend making time (even as little as 15 to 30 minutes each week) to be consistent in connecting with our community.
- Review applicants consistently. We’ve seen high quality job applicants get overlooked by accident - simply because recruiting teams were too busy. Please make some time each week to review diverse candidates in your pipeline. Sometimes a follow up email to candidates can lead to a great hire!
- Reach out to our team. Let us know if you have high priority roles each month & we’ll make sure to get them live ASAP & feature them. As well, we can help do some light-weight email intros upon request (no additional fees).
